The Most Important People In Your Life

James was driven and had a dream of being a millionaire before he was 40. He worked nonstop – 12 hour days – 6 days a week. The one day during the week that he wasn’t working, he was thinking about work. . . the next step to get to that next big payday.

By every standard the world has established, James was a successful. Even though he had not reached the millionaire status, he had earned a fairly healthy income.

James had support.

James’ wife loved him and she was very supportive of his goals and dreams. After all, most of what he was trying to accomplish was for her and the family.

The children grew up watching their daddy work hard. They experienced the fruits of his efforts. The children and James’ wife never had to want for anything.

Or did they?

It is possible to work for the very people that you should be spending your time with. Meaning you work to provide for them – giving them any possible want they could have.

But here’s a secret.

They really want time with you.

That’s right. It’s pretty weird actually. You are, most likely, out of love, attempting to provide luxury for those you love and they really would give it all up to spend more time with you. Seems kind of backwards, huh?

It’s true. It may not seem that way at first. At first everyone is on board to get that American dream (if you live in America). But it grows tiring – fast. People start to grow apart. Those you love the most become strangers in some way.

Those you work to provide for – the people you love the most – love you the same and wish you were with them more and more every day that you’re not there.

What do you do?

Is it an either / or situation? Do you have to choose between success and your family?

Quick Answer :: NO!

It IS possible to have an extremely successful life, spend time with your family AND have the lifestyle you want to provide for all of you.

Nowadays the Internet and technology in general provides us with tools that can keep us in check with both our family time and our work time.

From Virtual Assistants to organization technology, we can actually duplicate ourselves in some ways. We can hire people to do the easy tasks that take up so much of our day that we have to double up and STAY up long hours to get important things accomplished.

Look to outsourcing as a way to live a happier and healthier life. Most of the time the hired help pays for itself at least twice as much as the cost. And you’ll find yourself enjoying more time with the most important people in your life.
