Ebay Feedback
If you are even marginally involved in selling on eBay, you know how important feedback really is. The feedback score reflects the reputation that you have established for yourself as an eBay seller. The only people who can leave feedback for (or against) you are those people who have made purchases from you....your customers. If you do what you say you will do and do it when you say you will do it, you will very seldom have a problem. There are always those very few problem customers that are never satisfied but they are rare. Every human is going to make the occasional mistake. That is to be expected and eBay does expect it. When there is a problematic sale, the most expedient thing that you can do is to speak directly with the unhappy customer either by telephone or by email and do everything within your power to make the customer happy. Let them return the item to you for a refund or an exchange. Be very prompt in dealing with an unhappy customer. If you do not respond promptly, the customer will click on the feedback link and leave a negative feedback for you. This is something that you want to avoid when it is at all possible. When you are a seller on eBay, buyers do check out your feedback score. They will even click on the link to see all of the feedback that you have gotten. Your feedback score can be the determining factor of whether a potential customer becomes a paying customer or moves on to become a paying customer for your competitors. Although the feedback score for customers is not nearly as vital as it is for buyers, by promptly leaving a positive feedback for your customers, you will be encouraging them to leave a positive feedback for you.
