Can Practicing Magic Harm You?

There are two kinds of, what is considered by believers to be, magic. There is black magic, which is designed to create harm to others and there is white magic, which is designed to cause good things to happen to those who practice it.

Either kind is based on the belief that supernatural powers will either inflict harm (black magic) or do good (white magic) at the behest of those who have the power to call upon them.

I have no opinion one way or the other about whether either variety actually exists of not out here in the real world. I know the belief in both exists in the minds of those who practice them.

Can practicing either black magic or white magic harm a person? It seems to me that those who go looking for evil (black magic) will probably find evil in some form if they look and that those who go looking for good will probably find that as well.

It is just my opinion, of course, but I would think that those who associate themselves with evil will also find a lot of darkness that is associated with it. So, in that sense, it certainly could do a great deal of harm. If a person just must practice one or the other, I suggest pursuing white magic.

Magic TRICKS, however, will not harm Anyone- unless you should fall off the stage of trip over a prop. Magic tricks are good, wholesome fun for those who perform the tricks and for those who witness the tricks being performed.

Magicians become ever more popular and in demand as entertainers. They not only appear at magic clubs and night clubs but at some very upscale restaurants. Big budget magic programs air on national TV more and more often for the simple reason that they draw huge audiences and that makes sponsors very happy.
